Within the project time a slice of a 3D game was created, in which the player learns all important game mechanics step by step. The primary goals of this project was the learning of optimization of in terms of visual quality, game mechanics, programming, level design, overall game feel and balancing - to come as close as possible to a "polished" prototype.
T/LT presents the players with physics puzzles, which are to be solved in five levels. Players are supposed to tilt a platform which brings two spheres in motion - they have to reach their respective goals.

Full Playthrough:
This project was created in our 3rd semester and our first venture into the 3rd dimension. This task turned out to be very interesting, but also rather challenging - both in technical and design tasks. Good team work and organisation were key aspects of overcoming these challenges.
At the beginning of the project, the programming skills of all team members were at the level of the 2D Unity course, with no special knowledge 3D components. Hence, we decided to create a framework for us that would make good use of our resources: the game system was kept as simple as possible, so we could focus on artstyle, level design and a sound game mechanic implementation.
Two team members (Rebecca and me) were almost exclusively involved in the technical implementation to make sure the experience would be as bug-free as possible. I gained a lot of programming skills in this project and got much more comfortable with Unity. It was a good choice to dedicate a semester to the technical implementation.
T/LT was presented at the HIVE FIVE at the HTW, an exhibition showcasing the game projects from the current and previous semesters of Game Design (b.a.).
