We developed VR COOP in the summer semester 2020. In light of these special circumstances, a game excerpt has been created in which the focus is on the encounter, communication and interaction of two players in VR.
VR COOP has the interaction and communication between players at it's core. The two differently sized players are working together to achieve a shared goal - to go up! The giant player builds a structure that is climbed by the tiny player. They can only go up as a team, with bases for the big one only opening when the tiny one unlocks them first.
Team work is vital! But communication is hard. Using their bodies, the two unlike partners can gesticulate about where
to go next. While the players are building, climbing and interacting with each other, they are creating their own narrative through their cooperative play.
